For years, I have been confused with my distant Irish cousin, Michael Dobbs, author of the hit BBC television series, House of Cards. My namesake has been fielding questions and comments about my books and kindly forwarding e-mails sent to him, but intended for me. I have a new book coming out in October, Six Months in 1945, so I have decided this is a good time to end the confusion and launch my own website.
The website is a work in progress, so I welcome your comments and suggestions. I hope you will enjoy the slide shows, maps, and live Twitter Feed from the Cuban missile crisis.
